Hotel staff is totally arrogant. The welcome at Amedia was awful. First we had to deal with this guy which was not nice at all. This kind of ruined our whole trip to Hamburg.

The rooms in this place were very nice and spacious, with windows overlooking the railway tracks, and amenities include free WiFi, climate control, and a safe box.

This hotel would be one of the best value for money offerings that we have found. The hotel is next to the S1 train (but no noise) that runs Hamburg to the airport. The city is a wonderful place to shop, relax and soak up the vibrant culture. We found the hotel, the room and its staff to be first rate - English was not problem - a quiet, contemporary and stylish hotel. Highly recommended.

I booked a twin room with single occupancy, single room unavailable. bedding provided was for a single bed and too small even for my 1.66m frame. although the website showed rooms reduced from approx 170 euros to 79 euros (excluding breakfast), large billboards around town advertised the similar 79 euros price as available at any time including breakfast. the website gave a false view of the savings to be made which turned our to be zero.
